I am a Robotics and Embedded Systems Engineer focused on bridging the gap between hardware and intelligent software. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Robotics (May 2026), and my expertise spans from writing C++ perception pipelines to designing multi-layer printed circuit boards for automated manufacturing.
What I Do
I enjoy owning the entire hardware-software stack. Some of my core technical focus areas include:
- Embedded Hardware: Designing multi-layer schematics and layouts in KiCad, managing power distribution, and implementing firmware for microcontrollers like the STM32F407VET6 and ESP32 series.
- Robotics & Autonomy: Building multi-agent simulation architectures in ROS 2, Webots, and MuJoCo, and implementing closed-loop Field Oriented Control for brushless DC motors.
- Machine Learning: Training reinforcement learning models (specifically Proximal Policy Optimization) in custom Gymnasium environments for zero-shot Sim2Real transfer onto embedded hardware.
My work is heavily hands-on. Recently, I had the opportunity to contribute to an oceanographic survey that deployed a microSAS sonar sensor on an autonomous underwater vehicle to capture sub-inch resolution acoustic images of the USS Monitor shipwreck.
Beyond the Lab
When I step away from the keyboard, you can usually find me training for a 10-mile road race, working on my Toyota Tacoma for outdoor truck camping, or cultivating my Japanese maple bonsai trees.
